Sophomore Charlie Jarvis opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 49-yard touchdown run. Navy tied the score as John Cartwright found Rob Taylor for a seven-yard touchdown pass.
The Midshipmen had three scoring opportunities in the third quarter but one drive stalled at the Army 47, Cartwright was intercepted inside the red zone and John Church's 42-yard field goal attempt was blocked.
Steve Lindell took control of the game for the Black Knights, throwing for a pair of scores as Army finished its best season since 1958.
