A kickoff occurs at the beginning of the game, the beginning of the second half, the beginning of overtime, and after any team scores. An onside kick or a Squib kick may also be attempted.

At the beginning of the game[]

The away team chooses heads or tails and the referee flips the coin. Whoever wins the toss gets to choose whether they'd like to kick or receive. If they elect to receive, the other team lines up for the kickoff. The kicker places the ball to a tee on the 30 yard line and kicks the ball. It may be caught by the defense and advanced. If however, the ball does not travel 10 yards, it is illegal.

At the beginning of the half[]

Same rules apply, the team that received at the beginning of the game now kicks off.

At the beginning of Overtime[]

At the beginning of overtime, the same kickoff rules apply. The away team chooses heads or tails and whoever wins the toss chooses to kick or receive.

After a score[]

After anyone scores, the scoring team kicks off to the team they scored upon. Same rules apply.
