Marion Sylvester Barber, Jr. (born December 6, 1959 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is a former American football running back. He played for the New York Jets of the NFL from 1982 to 1988. He attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in youth studies in 2017.[1]

Barber attended Chadsey High School in Detroit, Michigan, and is the son of Marion Sylvester Barber.
Personal Life[]
He is the father of current Chicago Bears Pro Bowl running back Marion Barber III and Houston Texans safety Dominique Barber, both of whom also played at Minnesota.
